Direct Hit teamed up with two expert criminal investigators, Robert Lottero and Bryan Shouldice, to develop THREADS™. Lottero and Shouldice provide the investigative techniques for the system, and Direct Hit provides the software development expertise.
Robert Lottero is a top expert in telephonic investigative analysis. Lottero leads a group that currently supports the US Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) as a communications intelligence analyst. He has been involved in criminal investigations, counter-terrorism investigations, and counter-intelligence operations for almost thirty years, both as a contract analyst and as a sworn law enforcement officer. Lottero provides support and training services on criminal and counter-terrorism investigations, as well as counter-intelligence operations. He specializes in telephone information exploitation, subpoena composition, Modus Operandi analysis, bank transaction analysis, criminal use of telephones to avoid detection, and development of telephone sting operations.
In addition, Lottero has designed software systems that are the forerunners of THREADS™.
Bryan Shouldice is a 30-year veteran of law enforcement with proven expertise in major case management, intelligence analysis and international experience in software development and implementation. As a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Shouldice conducted major case investigations into all types of criminal activities. He served as the Executive Case Manager and Intelligence Section Head within the Coordinated Law Enforcement Unit of British Columbia.
Shouldice currently works as an investigative consultant on high-profile cases in the Vancouver Police department.
Kelly brings over twenty years of professional marketing experience in the areas of new product development, sales management, and customer service to Direct Hit. Previously, he served as the Director of Business Development with Recall Technologies, Inc. working directly with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. During his 23-year career, Kelly was involved in a “ground-floor” commercial venture with Harris Corporation. He was one of the founding members of the product development / sales team for the Law Enforcement Products group. That organization, known currently as the Harris “Wireless Products Group,” has annualized sales of over $40M in the federal law enforcement market.
Kelly has an M.B.A. from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University.
Prior to joining Direct Hit, Dan had over 24 years of experience in product development and operations management with GE, ESEC, and Harris Corporation. At Harris, he developed intelligence and communications systems that were deployed worldwide.
Dan has an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Christian Brothers College.
